Retallack Thompson is a Sydney-based architecture office, working across houses large and small, public to commercial, interior and furniture projects in both urban and regional areas.

We undertake private commissions which realise the aspirations of our clients through the consistent examination of how architecture is composed, constructed, and ages, ensuring a unique and appropriate result.

We promote an architecture that celebrates an Australian regionalism; one that utilises the materials and skills which can be found in close proximity to our projects, and explores the concept of the ‘home’ and how we live together.

We work closely with our selected artists, fabricators, and builders to ensure the economic, cultural, and ecological impacts of our ‘making’ achieve the most, with the fewest gestures.
